Anchorage Sears Mall Carrs store to close
The Carrs Quality Center in Anchorage's Sears Mall will close for good on September 12. Opened in 1968, it was the third store in the Carrs chain.

The store was not remodeled or replaced along with the other Carrs / Eagle / Safeway stores in Alaska, so I have had a suspicion that it would be closed.

Produce section began in the northwest corner of the store and ran along the entire west wall.
