I'm curious to know if this building is a former grocery store:

The building is located a couple of blocks east of the town square in Greencastle, PA. The building keystone says 1930. My other thought was this was some sort of department/variety store.
Old Grocery in Greencastle, PA?

Re: Old Grocery in Greencastle, PA?
Looks like an old A&P but from later in the 30s. It would be common for a grocery to be a little away from the center of a town, but a department or variety store would be very close to the center. Another possibility might be a hardware.
