Here are pictures of Safeway's first three locations in Kelso, WA. The last one is at 3rd & Oak, and was Kelso Auto & Marine for many years, it is currently Lukken Maytag. The second one is an extensively remodeled Marina, on Pacific Ave., which replaced the 3rd & Oak location, which was a thrift store for many years and is now the Worksource employment office. The first one is in Kelso's Riverway Plaza and opened in the late 70s, replacing the Pacific Ave. Store. It is currently Splits Bowling.

And this is the current Safeway in Kelso adjacent to the Three Rivers Mall. It is a former TOP Foods and replaced the Riverway Plaza location.

Regarding Splits Bowling, that closed last year, and the building was gutted and recently reopened as a Wilco Farm Store. The metal roofing throughout the whole shopping center was also repainted blue.
