The former Albertson's in Temple City (Rosemead and Las Tunas) mentioned here http://www.groceteria.com/board/viewtop ... emple+City closed a while back, and is now in the process of becoming a Super A Market.

As of this weekend, this Albertsons is still vacant and the Super A is still coming soon.

Today, I drove past the former Albertsons. They are now actually working on the outside and the inside. The door was open and I could see that the inside was totally empty with the back walls painted white.

Super A Foods closed their Pico Rivera store back in Summer 09, which also happens to be on Rosemead Blvd (State Hwy 19) (coincidence?). Pico store used to be Greatway.

The Super A closure in Pico was just that, coincidence. When I went in it last year it was empty. Definitely suffered from WalMart and ElSuper.
