I know that Fred Meyer at one time operated what is now Shop 'N Kart foods in the Yard Birds Building, and that Fred Meyer also operates a distribution center in Chehalis.
However, did Fred Meyer ever operate any other locations in this area, grocery-only or otherwise?
I find it somewhat interesting that a town that has a Fred Meyer distribution center, as well as a Kmart and Walmart store, does not have a Fred Meyer store.

I don't have any documentation on this, but I have been told that Fred Meyer had been a tennant in the original Yard Birds, which is now the current Sun Birds. Also, Fred Meyer used to operate the drug/pharmacy in the current Yard Birds building. I believe all that ended when Pay 'n Save bought Yard Birds. It is interesting that Lewis County is the only county along I-5 in Washington from Portland to Canada without a Fred Meyer.
