A&P in the Los Angeles area, 1964 and 1969

1853 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles--Post office

7910 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles--Rite Aid. Originally A&P and Thrifty were separate stores but Thrifty moved into the space when A&P closed.

5635 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles--Carpet store

1835 S. La Cienega, Los Angeles--**edit**Original store demolished in 1969. See reply #2 below.*** This shopping center had a Montgomery Wards, which is now the Staples and LA Fitness. The store across the street is obviously a former grocery store, but I only remember it as Staples before it moved across the street. It reminds me of the former Westchester Ralphs.Today it's used as a studio.

10929 Lindbrook, Westwood--Mann National Theater. This theater was the last single-screen theater built in LA and is slated to close. It keeps getting its lease extended for a few months at a time.
