East Main Street, Mesa AZ (across from former Safeway)

About a week and a half ago, the marina ex-Safeway on 827 East Main Street in downtown Mesa reopened as part of the Carnicerias Rancho Grande outfit. (More on that store can be found at http://www.groceteria.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=656 for those interested.)
Anyway, while looking that building up on Live Local, I found this abandoned, newer-looking structure across the street on the north side of Main. Anyone know what it is?
