For those of you who don't check the front page of the site regularly, I've added some 1967 photos of the very beautiful Cala Foods at California and Hyde in San Francisco. They were taken from the movie "Petulia", which was released on DVD a month or two back:

Aside from the obvious (clothing, hairstyles, etc.), there's one other thing that pegs the photos as "vintage" - isn't that an ashtray at the end of the refrigerated/freezer case?

It's a cool looking store that could still pass for a contemporary store today.
The exterior has a little "Jestsonesque" styling, just raise it up above the Bay Area fog on pole, lol.
