Red Dot Stores....

Does anybody know anything about them? While going through some late 1950s Atlanta papers, I saw their ads. They had a number of Atlanta locations, although I don't remembere specifically where. Just wondered if there was any connection with Colonial/Big Star because Big Star's 1980s money-saving marketing involved red dots. I remember putting those sale tags up, "when you see the Dot, you save a lot!"
