Could this have been a Centennial A&P? (Ocean City, NJ)

The newer circa 2000 Super Fresh in Ocean City, NJ is on the same block as a Shell station built in 1967 as a Texaco station. In fact, this was a very unique Texaco, a trademarked "Matawan" building design named after Matawan, NJ. A&P was building Centennials in 1967, so perhaps this store was one? Or was this Super Fresh ever an A&P at all?

This store is way too big to have been a Centennial store. It's also too new.
