Ames Discount Supermarket

Does anybody have any info on this?

There was an "Ames Discount Supermarket" located at 41 Stephenville St, Massena, NY 13662

It was operated by the Ames Discount department store chain. The Massena location was located next to an Ames department store and used the same logo that Ames was using at the time.

According to the AmesFanClub forums the Ames supermarket opened in 1966 and became a P&C supermarket in 1973.
