Store closing. Surprise surprise (not).

More interior photos would be good. Probably not many stores left open with this interior now.

I was actually in that store a few months back. Unfortunately, like many Albertsons of late, both new and older locations, they "cheapened" the store by removing some of the fluorescent tubes, and this might just be because of the reduced lighting, but the store seemed dirty to me. I actually remember visiting this store in 1988 right after its last remodel. It is like a cave in there now compared to what it was.

Yes, it was dark and rather cave like when I went in there as well. That is part of why my pictures (taken with no flash) are sort of dark.

Hopefully one of the equipment auction sites will pick this store up so we can have more pictures.

Just a little update....I was in The Dalles visiting family today and noticed that the Albertsons building has been demolished, and a new Goodwill thrift store building is now on the site. The rest of the strip mall looked unchanged though. I was kinda expecting the Grocery Outlet in that strip mall to take over the Albertsons space, but age of the building may have been a factor.
