I don't remember exactly when this National Food store closed, but it was located at the intersection of Silver Spring Dr. and Santa Monica in Whitefish Bay. The sole survivor of this batch, 9210 W Lisbon Ave., is a very odd store with a narrow arch (hidden from view in front) and trapezoidal footprint. This is great Kohl's history. I do want to point out that the store at 6940 N. Santa Monica has not been razed and still stands, most recently as Wheel & Sprocket Bike store. I have posted 2 recent shots below. The exterior is almost unchanged today from when it operated as Kohl's Food. It was b...
