Newspaper archives suggest that the Kroger opened about 1972, which was after the Family Center experiment more or less ended (I think) and was a couple of years before the first superstores.

Nothing concrete, but a theory: I suspect that the store at 1157 Governor (at Lincoln) is the one you're looking for.
